Dental Clinic Information

In 2009 we will conduct 28 patient events in our dental trailer.

In 2009 we will conduct 20 dental clinics. The dental clinics are held in our newly acquired dental trailer located outside our offices. We see an average of 10 patients per clinic. These patients have been previously identified from a screening as those most in need of further care. The clinics are staffed by volunteers. At the clinics, patients may receive: extractions, X-rays, fillings, and cleanings. X-rays are done by our state-of-the-art digital X-ray system that was purchased through a United Way of Central Alabama grant.

In 2009 we will conduct 8 hygiene clinics. Our dental hygiene clinics are staffed by students from Wallace State Community College and overseen by faculty member and dentist Dr. Teresa Ray-Connell.
