Cahaba Valley Health Care is a nonprofit organization based in central Alabama dedicated to providing access to quality healthcare for the underserved, primarily Hispanic, communities in Jefferson and Shelby Counties. Thanks to everyone for their help last Sunday on another successful screening. We had 50 people lined up and waiting at 12:30, which I think is a record, but with all our wonderful volunteers we managed to process them all in a timely manner. How You Can Help

A Model for Medical Nonprofits

On October 22nd from 8:30 - 4:00, CVHC will host a seminar on how to start and maintain a medical nonprofit. This all day event will cover every thing from legal info of a 501 (c)(3), to how to conduct a medical clinic, manage volunteers, and locate funding. The cost is $75 and includes lunch, valuable resource materials, and 2 free follow up calls. The registration deadline is October 15th. Please click here to register.
